Gore’s article frames the current situation really well. It’s up to all of us to use this framing to fight back against the bad actors Naomi Oreskes has dubbed “The Merchants of Doubt”, who use the same dishonest arguments and techniques fighting climate action that they used against seat belts, air bags, DDT, cigarettes, efficiency standards for autos, lead in gasoline, asbestos–the list goes on and on. How many times are people going to keep falling for this act?
